Flat self-serve or contingency — which is cheaper for you?

Both are honest options; the right one depends on your volume and your time. Flat self-serve is a fixed cost no matter how much you recover, so it gets cheaper per dollar the more you find. Contingency costs nothing unless it works, so it's the no-risk choice when you'd rather not touch it.

A quick way to see the crossover: Pro is $99/mo, or $990 a year. At 25% contingency, that's the fee on about $3,960 of recovered dollars a year. Below that, and if you have the time, doing it yourself on Pro is cheaper. Above it — or if your time is worth more than the disputes — done-for-you at 25% wins, and you never pay for a claim that doesn't land.

Not sure which side of the line you're on? Run a remittance through the free analyzer to size your recoverable dollars first, then decide. You can start self-serve and hand the pile to us later — your subscription fee is credited toward done-for-you if you upgrade.

Why we price this way

Most deduction tools make you commit before you know whether it's worth it — a demo, a contract, a platform fee, or a self-serve plan at $299–599 a month. That's backwards for a brand that just wants its money back. So we invert it: the analysis is free, self-serve starts at $49, and the done-for-you rung is pure contingency. The only rung with real commitment is fully managed, and that's for brands that have already seen the value.

Frequently asked questions

How much does deduction management software cost?

The tool is free. Self-serve deduction management software is $49/mo (Starter) or $99/mo (Pro), month-to-month — a fraction of the $299–599/mo most tools charge. Done-for-you recovery is 25% of the dollars we actually recover — no minimum, no retainer, and nothing if we recover nothing. Fully managed is a retainer plus a reduced share, scoped to your volume.

How much does a deduction recovery service cost?

Our done-for-you recovery service is 25% of recovered dollars on contingency — below the 25–35% most contingency auditors charge — with no minimum and no retainer, so you pay nothing if nothing is recovered. Fully managed (the whole function, ongoing) is a retainer plus a reduced recovery share. Always size your recoverable amount with the free analyzer before comparing fee structures.

What percentage do you take on contingency?

25% of recovered dollars — below the 25–35% most contingency auditors charge, with no minimum claim size and no retainer. For a large recovery book we'll quote a lower rate. The principle is fixed: you only ever pay a share of money we get back for you.

Should I pick flat self-serve or contingency?

It depends on volume and time. If you have the time to work disputes yourself, flat self-serve at $49–99/mo is cheaper once your recoverable dollars are sizable. If you'd rather not touch it, done-for-you at 25% costs nothing up front and nothing unless it works. Many brands start self-serve and hand off the pile when it grows — your self-serve fee is credited toward done-for-you if you upgrade.

Is the self-serve plan really month-to-month?

Yes. Both Starter and Pro are billed monthly with no contract; annual billing gives you two months free if you prefer it. Done-for-you is claim-by-claim on contingency — no lock-in, because we only make money when you do.

Do I have to pay to find out what I'm owed?

No. The remittance analyzer is free and needs no signup. You can size the recoverable amount before deciding whether to pay for anything at all.
