UNFI Conventional vs Natural

UNFI runs two supplier businesses with different portals, paperwork and dispute routes. Which one took your deduction decides where you look, what the codes mean and how long you have.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if I'm UNFI Natural or UNFI Conventional?

Log in at myunfi.com. If your dashboard has a Go To Dispute Center button, you're Natural. If you look up deductions in ePASS on svharbor.com, you're Conventional. Your payment paperwork tells you too: a remittance from United Natural Foods West or East with Gross, Discount and Net columns is Natural; a SUPERVALU pay group payment history is Conventional.

Can a brand be on both?

Yes. Many brands sell to both natural and conventional retailers through UNFI, so they receive both kinds of paperwork and dispute in both places. Treat them as two separate distributors: different files, codes and clocks.

Is UNFI Conventional the same as SUPERVALU?

Conventional is the business UNFI acquired with SUPERVALU, and its systems still show it: payment statements come from the SUPERVALU pay group, and the supplier portal is SV Harbor.
